The Secret Government of the United States

I'm 100% in agreement with Bret Weinstein here. I'm 100% in agreement with Bret Weinstein here.

Not only do things not add up. What's is truly bizarre is to watch so many people of power and influence do 180 degree flips on dozens of prominent issues over the past six years without feeling any need to justify their change of opinion. No new facts are being offered on issues that affect millions or tens of millions of us and, further, the corporate media pretends that nothing interesting is happening. Weinstein:

I think we Americans have to have a conversation with ourself about not only how broken our system is and what it is resulting in us doing, but how does it actually work? What is it that is actually driving us to do what we do? And you know, we can see parts of it. We can see lobbying. It's the loophole in our system where the system is pay-for-play, that is used day in and day out by corporations to get us to do things that are bad for our health, bad for our long term financial well-being bad in every regard. But obviously our adversaries abroad will have noticed that we have a pay-for-play system, and if they aren't taking advantage of it, that would be surprising. I would like to know why they would have missed the opportunity.

So presumably they are, and that also applies to our allies. Unfortunately, that is to say, anytime somebody has an interest that is in conflict with the interest that we Americans actually have, they are in a position to nudge us in their direction, and we are undoubtedly being nudged. On the other hand, I don't think that can be the sum total of it. And I will tell you, I don't like saying any of this. I don't want to be doing this. The the reason that the Epstein phenomenon, whatever it was, is so important, is that it suggests a hidden power structure that was there for leverage. It is unfortunate that in the edit that we have been shown, we don't have conclusive evidence of who what they were after, or even how the leverage worked. All we can see is strong evidence that there was something logically it is implied that it was connected to intelligence services. Ours, likely Israel's, who knows who else? But the when you see your government, your president, functioning in ways that do not add up, it's like watching a planet behave oddly because of the gravity of some object you haven't found yet, right? There's the implication that there's something with power in this system that is undeclared. As far as we know, it's unnamed. And the central question is, what is it? How does it work? And how much effect is it having on what we do.

“No Kings” and Lack of Democracy

The "No Kings" people are out again, none of them protesting that Kamala Harris was appointed (not elected) to head the presidential ticket. Nor are there any signs protesting what the DNC did to Bernie (who deserves no tears in light of how he folded in countless ways ever since). I once canvassed for Bernie. I will get out and protest when they hold a "No Heroes Day."

Aaron Mate:

To explain: the DNC rigged the 2016 primary against Bernie in favor of Hillary. Leaked DNC emails, released by Wikileaks, proved that. Hillary's campaign invented a conspiracy theory blaming Russia for the DNC leak and accusing Trump of colluding with Moscow.

Rather than call out Hillary's Russiagate scam and seize the Democratic party from the wreckage of her failed neocon/neoliberalism, Bernie decided to prop it up. He event introduced a measure to "Protect American Democracy from Russian Meddling." (see video below)

In 2020, Bernie was rewarded for his obedience by having the Russiagate playbook weaponized against him. The same anonymous intel officials who helped give us Russiagate declared that Putin was trying to help Bernie win. That helped sink his primary chances. Two consecutive primaries rigged against him, this time with his acquiescence.

In 2022, when Russia invaded Ukraine -- partly a result of years of Russiagate mania, which promoted conflict and criminalized diplomacy -- Bernie again deferred to the Democratic establishment. Abandoning his longstanding warnings about NATO expansion, militarism, and weapons spending, he voted repeatedly to authorize tens of billions of dollars for Biden's proxy war.

Wanted: Investigators for the Epstein Investigators . . .

History shows just how corrupt banks can be (consider the 2008 crash). Svetlana Lokhova reports on JPMorgan's records, which give rise to numerous red flags. Finding Epstein fraud and criminality in these records would see to be straight-forward--shooting fish in a barrel--but investigations against Epstein rarely go anywhere. Real investigations would require investigators of the investigators, and investigators of THOSE investigators because no empowered entity seems untouched by Epstein's fractal network. Even worse, today's investigations of Epstein fail because he was an avatar for a vast tangled system of enabling politicians, billionaires and banks.

FinCEN database using [redacted]-possibly Epstein's identifiers like name or accounts, and CTRs referencing Epstein's Social Security Number (SSN). Results: 14 [redacted, likely SARs] (8 with attachments) and 89 CTRs.

Epstein's JPMorgan accounts (held through entities like his Southern Trust Company) processed hundreds of millions in transactions, including payments to young women and co-conspirators. The records would help trace fund flows, identify enablers, and build cases.

The emails strongly indicate that there were suspicious transactions associated with Jeffrey Epstein's accounts at JPMorgan Chase.

Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs): These are confidential filings that banks are legally required to submit to the U.S. Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) when they detect transactions that may involve illegal activities, such as money laundering, fraud, or in Epstein's case, potential links to sex trafficking.

Limited Hangout Week re Epstein “Disclosures”

If the phrase "limited hangout" is not yet part of your vocabulary, it's time to add it to your repertoire. Grok offers this definition:

A limited hangout is a strategy, often used in espionage, politics, or public relations, where a partial truth or selected information is disclosed to the public or investigators to prevent the discovery of more damaging or sensitive facts, effectively acting as a form of damage control when a full cover-up is no longer viable. The term originates from CIA jargon, as described by former official Victor Marchetti, who explained it as admitting "some of the truth when tight lips have slipped" but withholding the key details to mislead further inquiry.

Here is the only thing you can do to make sure you are not a victim of limited hangouts: Repeatedly ask: "What else have you not yet told me?" Ask this repeatedly, especially when dealing with people, government officials and corporate news outlets you have previously trusted. Consider these recent examples:

DOJ under Pam Bondi redacted a photo of Benjamin Netanyahu with Jeffrey Epstein from the files.

Redactions are admittedly an imperfect way of engaging in limited hangouts, but they work well enough often enough, given the limitations of human attention and memory.

DNC mega-donor Reid Hoffman was mentioned 2,600 times in the Epstein files. David Sachs: "The NYT story on Epstein & Silicon Valley has paragraphs on Elon, Peter Thiel … Reid Hoffman barely gets mentioned despite having the deepest Epstein relationship and having lied about it."

New York Times forgot to mention that one of its own reporters worked closely with Epstein well after Epstein was a known child sex trafficker. And see here.

The DOJ briefly uploaded — then removed — an 86-page document titled “Investigation into Potential Jeffrey Epstein Co-Conspirators.”

Amidst all the chaos, Rep Thomas Massie emerges: with some common sense:

Rep. Thomas Massie says he’s ready to use the nuclear option if the DOJ refuses to un-redact the names of Epstein’s clients. He warns he will simply start reading Epstein’s client names publicly if Pam Bondi’s Department of Justice does not release them. “If the victims want to give them to me, I’ve expressed that I’m willing to do that.” See also here.

George Carlin: You Don’t Need a Formal Conpiracy

Comment: "There is no national conspiracy to buy elections and control America."

George Carlin: "You don't need a formal conspiracy, right? When interests converge, these people went to the same universities and fraternities are the same directors. They're in the same country clubs. They have like interest. They don't need to call a meeting. They know what's good for them. They're getting it. And there used to be seven oil companies. There are now three. It will soon be two. The things that matter in this country have been reduced. In choice. There are two political parties, there are a handful of insurance companies. There are about six or seven information [companies] but if you want a bagel, there are 23 flavors, because you have the illusion. You have the illusion of choice."
