What Ails the United States

IMO, RFK Jr's diagnosis of what ails the US is spot on. I hope to hell we, as a country, somehow figure out a cure. And for those who aren't aware, the DNC is pulling out every trick in the book to make the primary meaningless in order to pre-ordain Biden as the winner. Further, the DNC has publicly stated in court filings that when it comes to the nominee, the DNC doesn't give a shit about the opinions of voters.

Kennedy:

Our nation's most serious problems come from as a single source of entrenched corporate, political elite. Government agencies, Congress, the defense industry, Wall Street, the media, big tech, Big Pharma, Big Ag, and pretty much big everything have a death grip on our democracy. And there's only one thing that can break that grip. And now it's not me, is you, the people. It's a populist movement, a unites left and right black and white, rural and urban, young and old. We can't just wait around for the Washington establishment to change their minds. We can't expect Wall Street to stop strip mining the middle class of its equity and as well, we can't expect the military industrial complex to promote peace, or the censorship big tech complex to promote freedom or freedom of speech. We need to do it ourselves. We have to take back power in this country for the people. Let me add one more item to the list of entrenched institutions, the Democratic National Committee, and an honest primary the candidate with the most votes would be the nominee, right. But the DNC has imposed elegant roles and make it nearly impossible for an insurgent candidate to win. It has totally rigged the system very early on. [Video of Jamie Harris of the DNC]: "Back in February, we passed a resolution unanimously within the DNC that we are all riding with Biden and Kamala Harris."

Peter McCullough: The Current Corruption and Dysfunction of the “House of Medicine.”

Dr. Peter McCullough's summary of the current corruption and dysfunction of the "House of Medicine." Shocking and horrifying account of what really ails us.

In the first half of this talk, McCullough tells the sordid tale of power and corruption. How we got into this mess. Then he addresses some of the damage:

The vaccines didn't work. They didn't stop anybody from getting COVID. They didn't stop transmission. Our CDC director came out and said that early. And they didn't reduce the severity of disease. They're not going to prevent a recurrence right now. There's a fear media campaign right now saying everyone should take more shots because more COVID is coming.

They failed on all four counts. They failed on all four counts and I think America would have accepted an apology. America would have been very forgiving. The world would have been okay with that if they were safe, but it turns out the vaccines, as many of you know, aren't safe.

As we sit here today, we have 3,400 peer-reviewed papers describing fatal and non-fatal vaccine injury symptoms in the National Library of Medicine. It is not controversial It's not a theory. It is real. These vaccines cause very real side effects and they're in four major categories. One is cardiovascular and cardio--heart inflammation myocarditis, cardiac arrest. Number two is neurologic, all forms of stroke, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, neuropathy. Number three: blood clotting like we've never seen in medicine before. Blood clots that don't respond to typical blood thinners that are just a disaster. And number four: immune system abnormalities.

In the final segment, McCullough discusses the link between excess vaccinations (he has had 67 over his life), autism and transgender ideology.

“Gender” Ideology as a Cult

I've often commented at length on "gender ideology" at this website. Despite my deep concerns about the damage that it is doing to children and teenagers, it is my opinion that every adult has the right to do whatever they want to their own body. Surgeries, hormones, whatever. Further, it is a good thing that adults who transition do not relinquish any legal right as a result of presenting as the opposite sex.  We should not discriminate against those who transition.

That said, it is also my position that we need to protect children and teenagers from making decisions that that will turn them into life-long medical patients reliant on experimental drugs and surgeries that will render them sterile. Medical authorities in an increasing number of European countries agree. That is why the British Authorities are completely shutting down Tavistock, the largest gender clinic in the world.

I am not at all convinced by the seductive rhetoric of "gender" ideology (In my opinion the word "gender" is meaningless). I am convinced that most of these children and teenagers are suffering from mental health issues not related to "gender" dysphoria, yet well-meaning adults and peers advocate for these ghoulish procedures as a one-size-fits-all magical cure for complex issues not related to sex roles. Based on my readings, it is a extraordinarily rare child or tweenager who is a candidate for transition. Almost no one is born in the wrong body. I agree with Chris Elston ("Billboard Chris"): "There are two sexes, zero genders and countless personalities." I also largely agree with the Tweets of Matt Walsh and Chris Elston (below) that "gender" ideology operates as a cult and that it is permanently hurting thousands of children. I highly recommend Elston's interview in the comment to Walsh's tweet below.

Ressentiment Redux

Nietzsche, painted a vivid image of ressentiment that is applicable in modern times:

They monopolize virtue, these weak, hopelessly sick people, there is no doubt of it: "We alone are the good and just," they say, "we alone are homines bonae voluntatis.*" They walk among us as embodied reproaches, as warnings to us--as if health, well-constitutedness, strength, pride, and the sense of power were in themselves necessarily vicious things for which one must pay some day, and pay bitterly: how ready they themselves are at bottom to make one pay; how they crave to be hangmen. There is among them an abundance of the vengeful disguised as judges, who constantly bear the word "justice" in their mouths like poisonous spittle, always with pursed lips, always ready to spit upon all who are not discontented but go their way in good spirits. Nor is there lacking among them that most disgusting species of the vain, the mendacious failures whose aim is to appear as " beautiful souls" and who bring to market their deformed sensuality, wrapped up in verses and other swaddling clothes, as "purity of heart": the species of moral masturbators and "self-gratifiers." The will of the weak to represent some form of superiority, their instinct for devious paths to tyranny over the healthy--where can it not be discovered, this will to power of the weakest!

“What is Your Gender Identity?”

"What is Your Gender Identity?"

How would you respond to this question if you were put on the spot? Here's one approach . . .

If I were asked today, I would say something like this: "Unlike sex, "gender identity" is an incoherent and thus meaningless term."

Why do I think "gender identity" is an incoherent term? Here is one reason:

In other words, gender ideologists claim that one's genitals are both A) completely irrelevant to one's gender and B) highly relevant to one's gender. To make both of these claims is incoherent. Here's another thing I might add:

Another idea . . .

Perhaps you could point out that "gender ideology" embraces the regressive sex stereotypes most of us (not only feminists) have been trying to downplay for decades:

A comment to the above tweet:

It really sucks to know that we worked so hard to erase gender stereotypes. Let girls and boys dress how they want, play with whatever toys they wanted, play whatever sports, have whatever interests...boys can dance, girls can be mechanics. We fought so hard. Then this crap.

Or you could invite them to listen to this podcast where Bari Weiss interviews Andrew Sullivan, a pioneer in gay rights.  Sullivan doesn't support gender ideology because it is functionally homophobic. Most children claiming to be confused about their sex will, if left alone (not surgically butchered and rendered sterile by cross-sex hormones) grow up to accept their bodies, the great majority of them growing up to be gay (and see here).  For this reason, Sullivan characterizes gender ideology to be homophobic.

If things heat up too much, you might want to inject some humor:
