My 11-year old daughter JuJu allowed me to post this photo she took this morning in sunny but frigid St. Louis. She woke up to find this pattern of ice on her bedroom window:

I thought I knew the locations of most of the world's countries, but I was humbled by this addictive fast-paced game called Globetrotter. It's lots of fun, but don't hit this link, because you'll end up spending a lot more time than you intended. I know it's just a program, but I enjoy getting the applause when I do a good job. Note to myself: Study the countries of Africa better.
For the group "Stomp," everything is a drum set. In this delightful video, they hit the kitchen.
While in Manhattan last week, my family and I stopped to look around at F.A.O. Schwartz. This particular aisle glowed the kind of strong pink glow that comes from dozens of $70 play dresses.
