Bush flunks the economy, but exaggerates his grades

This video and attached article is so incredibly depressing, to think that this man is the leader of our country. Did I say depressing. Maybe I meant embarrassing or horrifying.   Especially horrifying in light of the economic shipwreck that is going to happen under the not-very-learned command of George W. Bush.  So much of this was totally unnecessary. The next generation will be often wondering why we betrayed them.

I couldn't watch Bush's entire press conference. His capacity to lie surpasses my level of tolerance. Not that I didn't try. I made it through his lies where he declared the Democrat's health care plan to be a step toward government-based healthcare for all Americans (in fact, it is merely a supplement to help uninsured and underinsured people), and I made it through his inflated cost estimates for the programs, and I even listened to him demonize Democrats for not "working with the White House" to create a plan he would sign (as if he has not spent the past 6 years turning his back on Democrats with his polarized policies), but when he called himself "fiscally responsible with the people's money," I just couldn't take it any more.
