No Anti-War Option on the Last Presidential Ballot. No Option for Restraining Israel

I wonder why?

And remember that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris eagerly participated in regarding Gaza.

Transcription of Kamala Harris’s statement in the video (from her July 25, 2024 remarks after meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu):

From when I was a young girl, collecting funds to plant trees for Israel, to my time in the United States Senate and now at the White House, I’ve had an unwavering commitment to the existence of the state of Israel, to its security and to the people of Israel.

And why do so few of our politicians speak out against the US-Israel war against Iran? For that matter, why aren’t we hearing the US corporate media excoriating the bi-partisan effort to blow through tax dollars we don’t have to engage in war? What is the top priority of most of our politicians? They will tell you in their own words:

AIPAC (= Israeli) control over our politicians (federal and state) is strong

If you’d like a recent example of happens to you if you do not fall in line as a member of Congress, consider the case of Thomas Massie:

Oh, and the tactic of name calling doesn’t work on me. My attacks are laser focused on the government of Israel, not Jewish people (many of whom deplore the actions of the government of Israel).

Glenn Greenwald:

Whatever your views on Israel are, make the case. Don’t hide behind accusations that people who disagree with you are part of “The New Antisemitism…”

There are a million reasons to oppose what Israel is doing in Gaza—and 10 million reasons to oppose the idea that it’s the United States and the American citizen that needs to fund and arm that without being accused of antisemitism…

As an American Jew… the idea that American Jews are this unique, vulnerable group is grotesque and manipulative and deeply insulting and yet is probably the leading instrument that pro-Israel elites in the United States are now weaponizing in order to coerce support for their cause.

A few more posts and my catharsis will be complete:

Bret Weinstein: “Netanyahu gave Hamas $35M a MONTH!

Hopefully it’s now clear that Israel had an obligation to the citizens of Gaza and the world, to remove Netanyahu BEFORE responding to October 7th. Imagine having your society destroyed, and children killed, by a man cleaning up his own mess.”

Again, things aren’t what they were reported to be by the US corporate media. This video clip is from the 2024 documentary The Bibi Files (directed by Alexis Bloom, produced by Alex Gibney), which uses leaked Israeli police interrogation footage from 2016–2018. I asked Grok to double-check the translations of the letter to Qatar and the verbal statements of Netanyahu. Here’s the important point: According to major U.S. corporate media outlets (such as The New York Times, CNN, NPR, and others), Israel’s policy of approving and facilitating Qatari cash transfers to Gaza (under Hamas control) was not prominently explained to the American public in the immediate aftermath of the October 7, 2023 attacks. Instead, the focus was overwhelmingly on the Hamas attacks themselves, the scale of the violence, Israel’s response, and initial hostage negotiations.

Netanyahu (in Hebrew, with English subtitles/narration in the documentary):

“This is confidential and can’t be leaked, okay? We have neighbors here, sworn enemies. I’m constantly passing them messages. I confuse them, mislead them, lie to them, and then hit them over their heads.”

[Supp. 10pm March 29]

Why would Trump destroy his own presidency by joining with Israel to attack Iran? It makes no logical sense since it is destroying a key promise he made to his base and it will hurt the US economy in many ways. This war will likely also lose the house and senate for the Republicans. This war offers absolutely no benefit to ordinary Americans. It’s one of the many things we’ve seen over the past 6 years where people do a 180 degree turn from a well established position without any explanation, without any new evidence that substantiates the new position. I can’t help but wonder whether someone is physically threatening Trump or someone he cares about. I hate thinking dark thoughts like this, but I’m otherwise at a loss.

This is our close Ally. The US supports this. Ergo, the US does this:

The US Corporate media will not do real journalism to expose Israeli government control of both major parties of the US Congress and US foreign policy.

Her core point is simple and stark: Behind the politicians are think tanks. Behind the think tanks are ultra-wealthy donors who also fund campaigns directly. Real power is rarely on the ballot.

The problem is not solely the government of Israel. It’s important to remind ourselves that there was no anti-war candidate on the ballot last election. And there is no stridently anti-war faction of the corporate media. Thinking back to George Carlin again: “You have no choice.” The current insanity results from an unholy marriage involving American neocons (who permeated Biden’s cabinet, as well as Trump’s), AIPAC money, Israeli government non-stop aggression (capturing large swaths in Lebanon recently while everyone has been focused on Iran), the U.S. military-industrial complex lit up for profit, good old political corruption, absolutely no concern for destroying the lives of thousands of innocent people using sophisticated bombs (just like we saw in Gaza), American conservative christian politicians who see anything Israel does as an existential religious war and all the shit that we don’t know about and we’ll probably never know about (cf. Epstein saga). That’s how I see this mess.

The amorality of Lindsy Graham,  From Grok:

Lindsey Graham, the Republican U.S. Senator from South Carolina, is one of Benjamin Netanyahu‘s closest and most consistent American political allies in Congress. Their relationship is characterized by frequent personal meetings, phone calls, public mutual praise, and strong alignment on policy—particularly strong U.S. support for Israel, opposition to Iran, and actions against groups like Hamas and Hezbollah.

It’s difficult to know what to believe anymore. But there is increasing evidence about so many things that have a nexus to Israel, often working along with the CIA.  For instance, JFK’s disputes with Israel (including his refusal to allow Israel to have nuclear technology) shortly before his assassination, Israeli’s meddling with and control of Congress (since at least 1973) (and see here and here regarding AOC) and all over the world (often in coordination with the CIA), Israeli’s outrageous land grabs (including of Lebanon) (and see here), ruthless tactics by Israel and some very strange recent things, including Israel’s assassination of Iranians who the U.S was reaching out to, the very strangely curated releases of Jeffrey Epstein, documents (see here and here), the fact that the Epstein files not only prove ongoing sexual degeneracy, but also the personal involvement by Epstein in high-scale finances and foreign policy (in conjunction with the CIA, Israel and other countries), the timing death of Charlie, Kirk, which is not being enthusiastically investigated or disclosed to the public (including recent claims that the bullet did not match the gun of the assassin, claims by an israeli soldier that the Golani Brigade received orders to stand down on the morning of October 7, the proud thuggishness of Israeli leaders regarding execution of Palestinian prisoners (and see here), manipulating the media, the constant claim that criticizing the government of Israel is the equivalent of anti-semitism aimed toward all jews, Netanyahu’s funding of Hamas, Israel’s torpedoing US peace deals with Iran.

I can’t believe that I am having these thoughts, because Israel and the US CIA were not big concerns of mine until a few years ago. My view was at Israel was in a very difficult situation, always faced with attacks and annihilation from its neighbors.  That is still true, of course. On the other hand, I have changed my view of the way Israel is handling its situation in recent years. I now see Israel taking actions that are counterproductive and destructive to itself and to the United States and to Israel’s neighbors.  Further, I have a haunting suspicion that the United States has never had a real election since 1963 and that this has a lot to do with deep state activities of Israel and the CIA.   Many have commented on this, invoking historical details (See here and here and here).
