The energy and persistence needed to make this trick work could probably start several fires just by rubbing sticks together.
In the good ol’ days, chocolate bars came in highly polished aluminum foil wrappers. I wonder if molding the wrapper to the bottom of the can might produce the same effect without so much effort (not to mention saving the chocolate for its intended purpose).
I saw this book a while ago, “The Dangerous Book for Boys“. I haven’t bought it yet, but it looks like fun. If you like the idea of making fire with a can of Coke and a piece of chocolate you probably would like this book, too.
