I can’t say that I’ve ever tried (or even imagined) these stunts. Danny’s Youtube commentary states “Without a doubt, this video pushes the envelope of what is perceived as possible on a trials bike.” Yep, especially those lonnnggg drops. He must really open the eyes of the folks walking around Edinburgh.
My hat is off to Danny MacAskill for his bicycle skills

Wow!
The stunts were cool (including the 'WiP' shots) his prowess is astonishing (definitely has an incredibly high physical/kinestetic intelligence!)
And seeing Edinburgh dressed in something other than rain was quite special!
Backflip 180 off a freaking TREE? I've seen some of Danny's stuff before but this video is beyond ridiculous. And his bunnyhops are just ridiculous. I'm jealous.
I ride BMX and used to hit the odd skate park or dirt jumps in my pre-30s, but this guy just makes my jaw drop. And makes me think I suck. A lot. But he also makes me want to get up from my desk and go ride, but it's 11 at night and I'm flaking.

Merely watching Danny's video makes my back ache. And I do wonder whether he could ever possibly have children someday after doing 12-foot drops on a bike.
FWIW, I showed this video to my 11 yr. old daughter last night, and this morning on the way in to school, she was scoping out the trees for their ramping capabilities, looking for just the right place for a bike flip. Ack!
