The White House is craving even more war. Even a higher risk of nuclear annihilation. The Ukraine war is simply not enough to satisfy U.S. bloodlust. Noam Chomsky describes the situation in a way you will never hear it described in corporate media.

Curious on your positions, and to clarify I do not have a strong one. Do you view as Taiwan as our Allies and as someone we should defend? Do you believe that they are actually under threat, or they are the ones instigating? Do you think the US should be more isolated and not deal in foreign affairs as much?
My position is that there are many possible solutions to international strife that do not require killing thousands of people and destroying their cities. IMO, the United States has become a warmongering menace to much of the world because it villainizes other countries and insists that war is only solution when other resolutions are available. We should be involved in foreign affairs, but we need to do this with intelligence and creativity.
I heard the USA blew up the Russian pipeline to Germany. I heard we are supplying weapons to the Ukraine for profit. I heard Russia invaded the Ukraine because they didn’t like the way the government treated the people. I also heard Russia wanted to get their hands on Ukraine’s oil. Why do we not dwell on motivation and get to the heart of the problem? So many things are happening, but asking ourselves why and talking about why things are happening seem to be either suppressed or discarded. I think upholding accountability is beyond reach.
I agree, I don’t believe it’s only America though. I think our whole species is stuck in this viscous cycle of tribalistic tendacies mixed in with greed. I think it’s a test of nature, and we need to overcome these human instincts. I think the chineese government has done much worse harm, and also believe they’re ideology is dangerous, i don’t care what ideology they hold if they keep it to themselves, but I believe we should protect people like the Taiwanese, so that they’re people don’t die along with their beliefs. I think that they’re the aggressor right now, and that the US is definitely not helping, but we can’t do nothing. Sorry if this is duplicate.
