The New White House Truth-Squad

If I were a Republican, I’d be so incredibly jazzed to get back into the WH to use this new power to declare and enforce what is “True.”

No, you wouldn’t. You’d be like the limited number of Republicans I know who don’t change principled opposition to censorship. That’s because Conservatives and Liberals are very close in goals and ethics, just different toolkits. See Operation Choke point as the scary predecessor.

Bill, my point is that far left wing of the Democratic Party doesn’t seem to be considering that what is good for the goose is good for the gander.

My apologies, I had assumed that away. And, party leadership never learns.

Harry Reid obliterated almost 100% of the power and privilege of the minority in the Senate when he was Majority Leader. When Republicans retook the Senate, McConnell, a traditionalist, didn’t use that against Democrats by allowing the rules changes to stand, instead he restored minority rights. Which Reid immediately used to obstruct the majority’s agenda. The few rules changes that were allowed to stand bit Reid in the ass.

Schumer may be the dumbest majority leader in history. His “majority” is due to the tie-breaking rule, not an actual majority. I don’t see how he can achieve a real majority without the death of a Republican in a Democrat-governor state.

Where’s the guy who shot Ashli Babbit when we really need him?
