I saw this a few weeks ago, and showed it to my younger son, telling him that this was a way a band could get started without a lot of money.
And you don’t need a lot of space for rehearsals.
My wife loves, and hates, this video. The love for the wonderfully creative effort of the group. The hate comes in because the song gets stuck in her head. For whatever reason, it does not get stuck in mine, though I am usually prone to such afflictions (Gershwin’s Rhapsody…) I accidentally saw Gotye performing the song on Jimmy Kimmel last week (accidental, because I never watch Kimmel), and watching Gotye’s cloyingly performance, it was enough to make sure it never got stuck in my head.
Jim: Are you familiar with the term “ear worm?” I had written a post on it a few years ago. http://dangerousintersection.org/2007/03/05/why-can%E2%80%99t-i-get-that-song-out-of-my-head/
