Eating light bulbs quickly

About five years ago, I watched in amazement as a young man ate a light bulb in front of a live audience at an art fair. It took him about five minutes, and it was one of the more bizarre things I had seen. And now, I see that it is possible to eat a light bulb in about 30 seconds.

I can just imagine this record-holder’s parents talking to him a few years ago: “Son, we understand that you would rather eat light bulbs than go to college. You have our blessing, as long as you strive to become the best possible light bulb eater.
