I just re-read that Miles Breuer story last week!
Glen Beck always pooh-poohs his critics by saying something like "I never said I was a preacher, I never said anyone should listen to me." That doesn't cut it, buddy! Admitting personal flaws when pressed on the matter does not absolve someone of the burden of the things they say. As cartoonish as Beck looks, his program presumes to be a real-life, serious news and commentary program. If Beck wants to have a real news show like a big boy, he can't shirk responsibility for his words by calling himself a clown.
