Hate and fear on display in Ohio

Al Jazeera (yes, Al Jazeera)  has taken the time to interview some of the Ohio voters who are driven by bigotry and ignorance.  No doubt there are many others.  Now it’s time for the mainstream corporate media to do the same, to shame these people into silence.   Sunshine is a great disinfectant.

And Colin Powell picked on this and what it means for how America is viewed abroad. But he [Powell] pointed out, Muslims have had it rough since the beginning of the election, and he asked the question that everyone has been avoiding: "… what if he was Muslim?"

I consider Al-Jazeera to be one of the better quality news agencies in the world today. They give more balanced coverage of world events than any other.except possibly Deutsch Welles. Unlike the corporate controlled US media. Al-Jazeera provides new targeted at a broad variety of cultures, religions and nationalities in several different languages.
