Maybe it simply leads to this question: what IS it that allows 1/3 of the country to still admire and respect this president?

I know the response in the article calls the Bushes 'sick' for this twisted display, but I just think it demonstrates how frighteningly they lack perspective. Playing with the big toys makes them seem like just that, toys. We've known for years that he doesn't take his job with the gravity that he should- 40% of his pre-9/11 time at the ranch, anyone?- but this just further illustrates it.
