What are the facts? We’re these “modern day lynchings,” as claimed in the Pressley letter? The facts don’t matter for AOC, Pressley and many of their peers. As of this post, Nearly 60 House Democrats have co-signed. Pressley’s office says [2] she led 59 colleagues on the letter to AG Todd Blanche and FBI Director Kash Patel. That is Pressley plus those co-signers — about 60 members total. Every named signer is a Democrat (including Delegates Eleanor Holmes Norton and Stacey Plaskett).

Most were ruled suicides by police and medical examiners, with no evidence of another person involved. That includes Kyle Bassinga (Cobb County, GA: no indicators anyone else was present), Juliana Nzita (Charlotte: no defensive wounds, no assault, case closed as suicide), To’Nea Miller (Miami-Dade: apparent suicide), Jerard Jackson (Michigan State Police: suicide, no foul play), Justice James (Albany, GA: foul play ruled out / suicide), Trey Reed at Delta State (MS state medical examiner: hanging, suicide; 2025 but constantly bundled in), Tory Medley (Brookfield, WI: preliminary suicide), and the Raleigh parking-lot case (chief: video and evidence confirm suicide; no criminal death).
One 2026 case is a homicide: Tasia Fortune, 29, Jackson, MS (found Aug. 3). The state medical examiner ruled homicide. Jackson police arrested Jarques Ratliff, 51, who is Black and had an “association” with Fortune. Earlier reporting also named a Black person of interest. No racial-motive finding has been announced. Additional arrests were said to be possible.
Another case (a North Carolina father of nine) has been described as still open or “suspicious” in some write-ups; it is not a confirmed lynching.

The George Floyd “anti-racist” rhetoric has already set back race relations in this country by 60 years or more. Potential next president AOC has been caught in an act of fraudulent race-baiting. Her post is highly manipulative and divisive at a time when we desperately need the opposite of this.
