That's right up there with Obama being a socialist atheist Muslim. No Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid? Same policies as Bush? For one, Romney's going to get rid of the crony capitalism that has been pervasive in the Bush and Obama administrations. He's not just going to cut taxes, he's going to reform taxes in a revenue neutral way. He's going to cut spending where Bush increased it more than any President since LBJ.

In other words, Romney promises to follow a similar course to Bill Clinton, and that worked out pretty well. Obama elected to stay on the Bush path, and that didn't work so well.

Romney and the Republicans are crazy for doing the same thing Bush did but, on steroids and thinking anything different will happen this time; no Middle Class, no jobs, no unions, no seniors, no working poor people, no students, no Social Security and no Medicare or Medicaid. Imaging your world without these. If you like it, vote for Romney.

“Dr. Doom” says; “It’s Bush’s fault” for the lousy US economy!

But facts don't matter in the post-Citizens United Republican World!

"It's Republican World, where the Earth's three moons shine all day and all the poor people are dead. It's Republican World, where ideology rules the day, and facts don't cloud your head!" (c) Tim Hogan, 2012

Yes, Erich, it's a song but, you won't help me do the music. I can sing it but, it needs a ukelele as it's instrumental. Where's Hank when you need him, anyway? Hey, mates, wassup in Australia?

Romney is a poster boy for the 1%. As was Franklin D. Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy. In fact, Democrats haven't built up a mythology around ho-hum Presidents of modest origins like Bill Clinton and Harry Truman. But Roosevelt and Kennedy were made into icons, larger than life, and their families became like American royal families.

The Romneys are just as respectable, if not moreso. Democrats and liberals should state their real problem with Romney: it's not that he's rich. They like rich. No, they LOVE rich. IT's that he's Republican.

You nailed it. Of critical importance, and something that is being overlooked, is the fact that the UBS Whistleblower, Bradley Birkenfeld, told the Bush Department of Justice in 2007 that UBS had a desk that dealt solely with what they called "Politcally Exposed Persons"...American politicians. Their acronym was "PEPs".

He also told them that the kingpin of the UBS tax fraud, Martin Liechti, knew all the names of the PEPs and that Liechti needed to be taken into custody to nail the UBS investigation and to get the names of the PEPs. Liechti was apprehended almost a year later and held for over 4 months in the U.S. But the DOJ secretly gave him immunity and let him quietly leave the country.

Either the Bush DOJ deliberately did not ask him about the PEPs or they got the names and protected them by simply letting them come in under the IRS amnesty programs, to stay forever anonymous. Either way, it was a blatantly corrupt political cover-up.

It is time to find out if Romney was one of the PEPs who was protected by the Bush DOJ.
