I just meant to say that you said "biked" and not "cycled."

I'm too lazy to write "bicycled", but not too lazy to do it. Btw: My well worn saddle soaks up rain like a sponge and holds it for hours. Ick.

Totally irrelevant, but I'm noticing that Dan used the word "biked".

Dan: My family and I also stopped by St. Louis Pridefest today. I'd bet you're correct about those attendance numbers--the sprawling park grounds (of Tower Grove Park) were jammed full of many kinds of people. This was not a celebration for only gays. It was a celebration by both gays and non-gays who were attending to show their interest in advocating tolerance.

Dozens of corporations were also present, further evidence that America is in the process of moving past the bigotry (though there is a long way to go).
