One Response to “Larry David, on why you should help a bald brother out”
The guy is right. Cancer comes with a certain amount of status. This can be handy sometimes. Hey, when you have cancer anyway, why not make the best of it?
But compare cancer with for instance a slowly debilitating problem like a vitamin B12 deficiency which, until it is finally diagnosed after a long series of tests, can make you feel lousy all day and less and less capable of functioning. Big fat chance you will be regarded as a querulant (lazy, makes mistakes, between the ears, etc…) and by the time you are correctly diagnosed your reputation will already be irrevocably damaged.
