Amid all the praise Bush showered on the town, I could not help but observe how conspicuously absent he has been from public events in New Orleans. Oh, btw, it turns out that that "Mission Accomplished" banner, which Bush's staff claimed was posted by the ship's crew without Bush's knowledge, actually was posted by Bush's staff.
