I’ve read XKCD for a while now, and while the programmer jokes go over my head, I love everything else about it. One of my more recent favorites.

I learned of XKCD from a flirtatious dance partner this past weekend, who is a Computer Science professor. Having grown up surrounded by professors, I never “got” the public image of them as staid and dull. Math geeks, in particular, have intense senses of humor. Look up Richard Feynman or Tom Lehrer.
