Three weeks ago, I took a 50-mile bike ride through Illinois, heading toward Pere Marquette State Park.  I kept thinking about the blog, however . . .

    Green grass, blue sky, leaves on trees, bicycle trips.

    On Thanksgiving Day I was shoveling snow from my driveway. I believe the temperature made it all the way up to 24°F. Welcome to Northern New England.

    Days like this I miss St. Louis. Mention it again, around the last week of July, and my feelings might be different.
