Jon Stewart pans Chris Matthews’ new book

Stewart does some high-level baiting, and Matthews lets it roll off of him, and offers Stewart the chance to be on the other side. Stewart declines the offer, and offers an olive branch, almost as if he fears having goaded (the much larger) Matthews to the edge of violence.
I wouldn’t call it a clean win for the liberal spokesman in this case. From the interview, my impression of the book in question is that it promotes the Dale Carnegie approach to social interaction, and Stewart derides that as insincere.
Disclaimer: I hadn’t even heard of Matthews, nor his latest book.
