I'm about to write a post that will touch on why this message is even necessary. Many Americans believe that it is OK to talk about what "they" are like, referring to all people from the Middle East in one broad stroke. So many Americans are small-minded racist people. You could be the most patriotic American imaginable, but if you are of Middle Eastern descent, you're going to be trashed by 20% of Americans. Like I said, it's all very sad.
